2017 INA Nanny of the Year Nominee – Kelly Smith

This week the INA is introducing you to our five outstanding nominees for INA Nanny of the Year.  Join us Monday, May 1, 2017 when we’ll announce our kelly 250
2017 INA Nanny of the Year recipient, who will receive her honor at the upcoming INA Conference, on Saturday, May 20, 2017.

Our fourth nominee is Kelly Smith of Burien, Washington. Kelly has been a nanny for over 8 years. To her, being a nanny is the most rewarding decision she ever made. She gets to see daily the wonder and mystery of life through the eyes of children. She works to teach kindness and acceptance in the children in her care. Kelly models this by accepting and loving every child for the unique individuals that they are. She is passionate about anticipating and filling the ever-changing needs of the parents and children. Kelly currently works for two children who require support beyond what is normal and she enjoys the challenge of helping them reach milestones so they can thrive.

Kelly was nominated by Ashlie B who said that “She is amazing with children. She is currently working with kids with special needs and has so much patience. I admire her and it takes a devoted special individual to take care of children. She is always caring about the little things too to make the mom’s life easier.”
