2018 INA Conference Keynote: Dr. Lynne Kenney

INA is excited to announce our Keynote Speaker at the 2018 Annual Conference in Tucson, AZ., Dr. Lynne Kenney! 

Dr. Kenney is a Harvard-trained psychologist, mother of two, an international educator, author and pediatric psychologist in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Kenney has presented to the INA several times before and was our Keynote speaker in 2009. Her Keynote topic this year will be “Elevate Your Productivity: What the Newest Neuroscience tells us about the Care & Keeping of your Mind & Body.” Current neuroscience research supports the care and keeping of our minds and bodies through healthy nutrition, proper sleep, and daily movement. We can improve our productivity, cognition, health, and longevity with simple 5-minute daily strategies. In her Keynote address, she’ll share 10 research-based thinking tools and activities to improve how we feel, think and relate, for better well-being.

Dr. Kenney’s works include the Social-Emotional Literacy program Bloom Your Room™; Musical Thinking; Bloom: 50 things to say, think and do with anxious, angry and over-the-top-kids and 70 Play Activities For Better Thinking, Self-Regulation, Learning and Behavior. With a keen interest in changing the trajectory of children’s learning through cognitive-movement, Dr. Kenney is known for producing classroom activities which integrate neuroscience and physical education to improve executive function and self-regulation.
