INA Conference - 2007 Workshops
We experienced an amazing conference this year. We had a large group of people, 148 attendees, and several who were attending conference for the first time. Some attendees even traveled from abroad to join us. Our workshops were presented by more than 30 speakers, some of whom were INA members who shared their expertise and provided insider tips.

Myrna Alphonse introduced opening speaker, Ms. Louise E. Davis, former CEO of the Norland College, the world's oldest-established institution for the training and education of child care professionals. Ms. Davis, who led the world renowned college for 20 years, discussed the history and the industry of nanny training and placement.

Keynote Speaker Ms. Ann Compton, White House Press Correspondent for ABC News, offered an anecdotal perspective of her experiences as a career woman, mother and nanny employer.

Barbara Marcus, CEO of Parents in a Pinch, Inc., introduced "Quality In-home Child Care: Professional Standards for Nannies," INA's new publication.

Tonya Sakowicz, an infant specialist and sleep trainer, led a sleep training workshop that was a favorite among attendees.
