List of Committees:

  • Accreditation Development Committee
    • The Accreditation Development committee is designed to research, options for creating a nanny and newborn care specialist Certification that will be accepted by an accredited body.
  • Business Mentor Committee
    • The Business Mentor committee was designed to support and assist new industry businesses (placement agencies) by pairing them with seasoned, veteran INA business members for formal or informal mentorship.
  • Business Workshop Committee
    • Ensures that a well-balanced, high-quality program is organized and presented at the conference for businesses
  • Caregiver Mentor Committee
    • The INA Caregiver Mentor Program was designed to foster nanny development and career enhancement through a formal, structured program that pairs nannies that are new to the profession or to INA with seasoned, veteran INA nanny members.
  • Domestic Membership Committee
    • Responsible to create and implement membership recruitment and retention programs to increase and maintain membership.
  • Education and Exam Committee
    • Furtherance of the educational mission of the INA, this committee coordinates all online training, webinars, exam development and upkeep.
  • Endowment and Raffle
    • Work with Conference Coordinator in order to host the Endowment contest, collect raffle prizes, select a conference charity and make the raffle a success. Develop and maintain a system of accountability for the raffle ensuring that all is fair and legal.
  • Governmental Affairs
    • Responsible to inform and advise membership to changes in the payroll, tax and regulatory landscape that impact members.
  • International Membership Committee
    • Responsible to create and implement membership recruitment and retention programs to increase and maintain international membership.
  • Meritorious Service Award Committee
    • Responsible for researching and selecting individuals to recommend that the Board of Directors bestow the Meritorious Service Award to.
  • Nanny Workshop Committee
    • Ensures that a well-balanced, high-quality program is organized and presented at the conference for nannies
  • Nanny of the Year Committee
    • Responsible for the ethical and confidential operations of the INA Nanny of the Year program.
  • NCS Committee
    • Committee provides a home within the INA for newborn care specialists. This growing specialty is in need of strong leadership and the benefits that INA offers its membership.
  • NCS Workshop Committee
    • Ensures that a well-balanced, high-quality program is organized and presented at the conference for newborn care specialists
  • Nominating Committee
    • The purpose of this committee is to seek out and qualify nominees for the INA board of directors. The committee will work to create the current nomination application and timeline of procedure.  
  • PR Committee
    • Responsible for year round INA publicity, marketing and promotion to members and the general public including Blog content, social media direction, eblasts and press releases.
  • Service Pin Award Committee
    • The INA Service Award Pin committee is responsible for adhering to the policies of the committee in vetting all pin applications as described.
  • Volunteer Steering Committee
    • Act as a liaison for members interested in participating as a volunteer in the committees that desire help, whether on a regular or seasonal basis or with special projects.
