Conference!!! It is my favorite time of year! I am energized by the sessions, speakers, and especially by my peers. Each day is filled with brainstorming, planning, and goal-setting, and I always leave with so many fresh ideas!! And then…I get back to work and family and life takes over once again. Inevitably six months later I find my conference notebook, full of great ideas that I was going to implement just as soon as I got back under a pile of resumes…oy vey!
After years of the same scenario, I realized that I needed to find a way to connect with agency colleagues throughout the year to share ideas, encourage one another and hold each other accountable. To that end I decided to create a solution – I asked a handful of agency owners from around the country to be part of a pilot project that would meet once a month via video conference for one hour. The results were more incredible than I could have imagined. Our sessions were dynamic – we each brought our wins and our challenges. We addressed issues such as marketing, advertising, what’s working/what isn’t, policies, hiring/firing, commission structures, challenging clients, and loads of other topics that we were all facing throughout the month. I learned so much and always left encouraged. These women just “got it” because, like me, they were in the thick of it every single day.
Now, I am thrilled and excited to announce that the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) is spearheading the very first APNA Mastermind Program open to agencies across the country starting in January of 2018. Mastermind groups will consist of 8-10 agency owner participants who will meet monthly via video conference. Each Mastermind Group will be designed to ensure that there are no competing agencies within a group and that each participant will be able to fully maximize their potential. NDA’s will be signed by each participant ensuring that you have a confidential and safe place to discuss your business. In addition to monthly video-conference calls, participants will have access to a dedicated Facebook page as well as exclusive webinars taught by industry leaders throughout the year. The cost to participate $299/year. Groups are currently forming so be sure to get your spot and get ready to grow your business!
