Conference Workshop Spotlight – Defining Your Agency as a Brand
Speaker: Brandy Schultz
“… [branding] needs to be applied to every interaction within the customer’s experience. ”
In this post, we spotlight Brandy Schultz. Ms. Schultz’s experiences as a travel nanny combined with her background in education reform and gender studies led her to create her nanny agency, Adventure Nannies. Brandy is presenting the workshop “The ‘B’ Word: Defining Your Agency as a Brand”.
When we asked Ms. Schultz what she hopes attendees get out of her workshop she said “I hope the attendees get a strong idea of the enormous importance of branding, and how it needs to be applied to every interaction within the customer’s experience. We have designed a hands-on and visual presentation that we hope will inspire agencies to adjust and re-design their brands for attracting the exact kind of clients they want to work with. “
When we asked about the style of her presentation she told us “I am a very active learner, and thus prefer hands-on and interactive approaches over lecture.”

More about Brandy Schultz: Brandy founded Adventure Nannies after 8 years of working as a travel nanny. As a nanny, she went cliff diving with kids in Italy, worked on a farm in Southern France, attended Burning Man, and used her survival skills in the Rocky Mountain wilderness. These experiences combined with Brandy’s background in education reform and gender studies led her to create Adventure Nannies. As the original Adventure Nanny, Brandy’s passion for active families and dynamic visionary leadership has propelled Adventure Nannies from its infancy into the high-touch, worldwide, boutique nanny agency it is today. Brandy spends 200+ days a year traveling, meeting with team members and families at Adventure Nannies, exploring with close friends, or on tour with her husband’s band, The Lumineers.
