INA Town Hall – Get Connected with your Board of Directors

 

The INA Board of Directors and staff have been working hard, not only on conference preparation, but also on some innovative ideas for the industry. Even though we’re working on INA projects every day, sometimes it feels like we are disconnected from the very people we serve. We would like to correct that.

On Thursday December 3rd from 8-9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, the President of the INA along with several other Board members and staff, will be available to answer questions and “chat” live with you.  We will be using the power of Facebook to connect with you in a Town Hall Meeting. We would also like to take a minute to re-introduce our Board of Directors and staff.  We are here to serve you.  Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there is some way we can be of assistance to you.

Executive Board

Cortney Gibson is your President. Cortney has been an INA member since 2004 and joined the Board of Directors in 2007. In addition to being President she serves on the Newborn Care Specialist Committee, assists with securing conference speakers and donations, and works with the Mentor Program.

Marcia Hall is your First Vice President.  Marcia has been an INA member since 2005 and joined the Board of Directors in 2011.  She currently is the chair of the Nanny Workshop Selection Committee and assists with both the Mentor Program and the Nanny of the Year Program.

Louise Dunham is your Second Vice President. Louise has been an INA member since 2010 and joined the Board of Directors in 2013.  She is the Chair of the Ethics Committee* and works with the Membership Committee.

Kathleen Webb is your Immediate Past President. Kathy has been and INA members since 1993 and joined the Board of Directors in 2013.  She is currently is the chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee

Sheri Lopez is your Secretary. Sheri has been an INA member since 2010 and joined the Board of Directors in 2012.  She is currently the Chair of the Nanny of the Year Committee, the Mentor Committee and is Co-Chair of the Membership Committee

Stacie Steelman is your Treasurer. Stacie has been an INA member since 2007 and joined the Board of Directors in 2013.  She is currently the Co-Chair of the Membership Committee.

 

Board of Directors

Caroline Malkin is a Director. Caroline has been an INA member since 2011 and joined the Board of Directors in 2015.  She is currently working with the Ethics and Governmental Affairs Committees.

Angela Riggs is a Director. Angela has been an INA member since 2000 and joined the Board of Directors in 2014. She is currently the Chair of the Education and Exam Committee.

Tonya Sakowicz is a Director. Tonya has been a member of the INA since 2001 and joined the board in 2015.  She is currently the Newborn Care Specialist Chair.

Greta Schraer is a Director. Greta has been a member of the INA since 2009 and joined the Board of Directors in 2015.  She is currently the Chair of the Public Relations Committee.

Amanda Schultz is a Director. Amanda has been an INA member since 2011 and joined the Board of Directors in 2014.  She currently works with the Raffle and Donation Committees.

Alice Shaffer is a Director. Alice has been an INA member since 2006 and joined the Board of Directors in 2010.  She is currently the Chair of the Raffle Committee, Endowment Fund and Conference Donations.

Carrie Ann Taylor is your INA Operations Manager.   Carrie Ann oversees all INA Operations and has been with INA for over two years.   Carrie Ann oversees all member and non-member inquiries, assists the board of directors with projects and recently oversaw the transition of our member software and website updates.

 

Kellie Geres is your INA Conference Coordinator & Special Projects.  Kellie has been an INA member since 1994 and brings over 26 years of experience to INA, as a former board member and 1997 INA Nanny of the Year. Kellie oversees the planning of our annual conference and assists with INA Special Projects.
