More Nanny Educational Workshops at INA’s Conference March 27 – 30. 2014

This year’s International Nanny Association’s 29th Annual Conference is shaping up to be huge. Domestiquette – The Nanny and Family Dynamic Based on Mutual Respect, Trust and Accountability

The INA is delighted to announce that Lisa Gaché of Beverly Hills Manners, INC. as a featured speaker in the nanny education track. She will be presenting “Domestiquette – The Nanny and Family Dynamic Based on Mutual Respect, Trust and Accountability”

Lisa Gaché, CEO and founder of Beverly Hills Manners, is a nationally recognized etiquette expert in lifestyle, entertainment and family. She provides practical solutions for modern day living and helps clients to improve social skills and enhance lives. Based in Los Angeles, she is the credible “go-to” resource for the media and entertainment community, advising on the “how-to’s” of good manners — from dining with decorum to event hosting and red-carpet etiquette. Lisa was recently featured in the Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue in “Fan Fair” for the upcoming release of her new book, 24 Karat Etiquette (Skyhorse Publishing).

This workshop will take a close look at the family and nanny dynamic with the primary goal of maintaining a peaceful household built on mutual respect, trust and accountability. For harmony to exist and employment to last, both parties must be in alignment, keep the lines of communication open, and maintain a flexibility and willingness to work through the family’s needs together.


I See You: Sign Language as a Tool to a Better Communication and Connection Between Parents and Hearing Children

Etel Leit, MS, an internationally recognized leader in the field of signing with babies and young children, will be providing training at the International Nanny Association’s Annual Conference, March 27 – 30, 2014, in Los Angeles CA.  She will be speaking on “I See You: Sign Language as a Tool to a Better Communication and Connection Between Parents and Hearing Children.” Etel joins a long list of nationally recognized experts in early childhood development and education presenting educational workshops for nannies at the INA’s 29th Annual Conference.

Etel is the owner and founder of SignShine®, the largest parenting and signing center for hearing children in Southern California, and the publisher of BabySignShine.com, an internationally known signing and parenting resource for families, educators, therapists and new signing instructors all over the world. She counts many TV and film celebrities among her clients.

Etel teaches in the Masters Programs at University of Southern California. She also presents in national conferences on communication with children with autism and other developmental delays. She is fluent in English, Hebrew, Arabic and Sign Language and has served in the Israeli intelligence service

Etel is the parent of two hearing children and has seen first-hand the miraculous effects of signing and the many benefits of joyful parenting.

Her workshop will provide nannies practical tips and trick to help you to integrate signing with parenting skills. Nannies will learn useful tools for parenting: get baby to sleep, establish bedtime routine, create meaningful play time, feed a picky eaters and more. Baby and toddler will soon be signing back exactly what he or she wants! It breaks down that frustration barrier, and bond with your child and a loving and fun way.
