2016 Nanny of the Year Nominee Cecily Laing

Cecily LaingOur second INA Nanny of the Year nominee is Cecily Laing. Cecily has been a career nanny for the last 18 years. She has worked with all ages of children, some as young as only a few weeks. Cecily has also held many job titles over the years, from full-time, part-time, casual, live-in, live-out and household manager, all of these roles were enjoyed and brought a different skill set. Cecily considers herself there for both the children and the parents and thinks of being a nanny as being part of a team. Cecily finished up a position at Christmas that she has had for the past 9 years and feels it was a privilege to be a part of a family for such an important amount of time. Cecily is hoping to branch out into training nannies in the coming years as she sees that as a great way to pass on her knowledge to the next generation of nannies.

Cecily was nominated by Tamara Campell who said, “Cecily is constantly sought out by her peers and parents for help and advice.  Which she willingly and tirelessly gives. The children she cares for love her and the families she works for treasure her.”
