2015 INA Conference Adventures!

I am sure most of you have been dreaming about our tropical location for the International Nanny Association’s conference this year. Perhaps you plan on spending all your free time on the warm sandy beaches and or by the relaxing swim up bars located right on our Iberostar Resort. However, for those of you who want a little adventure in your trip, INA has highlighted four amazing excursions for you to pick from. Available if you are extending your stay before or after conference, we have 3 amazing adventures:

Chichen Itza

One of the New 7 World Wonders, Chichen Itza is located 200 km (127 miles) west of Cancun or a little over 2 hours from our resort. It is one of the most visited sites around Cancun due to its extraordinary architecture and beauty. The Pyramid of Kukulcan is the most impressive temple in Chichen Itza and is renowned for its 91 steps to the top. On this full day trip you will ride with an official bilingual guide via air conditioned motor coach to this remote location starting at 7AM in the morning. Lunch will be provided and it is suggested that you bring comfortable footwear, sunblock and a bathing suit/ towel. The cost for this adventure is $119 per person plus gratuities.

Jungle Tour

On this exciting adventure not only will you be able to explore dense mangroves but you will be doing so while driving your own small BOAT! You will visit the magnificent Punta Nizuc Reef for snorkeling or swimming between hundreds of tropical fish and coral gardens. The tour includes all you will need including snorkel gear, drinks, lockers and air conditioned transportation to and from the location. You even get to keep your snorkel gear. The adventure begins at 2:15PM on the day of your choice and is 5 hours long. Cost is $97 per person plus gratuities.

Rio Secreto

If you are daring then you will not want to miss this region’s most unique natural treasure. On this day long adventure you will swim underground about 600 m (1/3 of a mile) along the Riviera Maya as you marvel at this ancient magical subterranean world. After you travel by air conditioned van you will be guided by a highly trained professional dive master as you put on a wetsuit, helmet, special lamp and wet shoes.

Please note that this adventure does have some restrictions. Participants must be at least 6 years old, under 250 pounds and it is not available for those with severe physical handicaps, heart disease, pregnant women or people under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This once in a lifetime experience is a half day trip and costs $79 a person plus gratuities. Participants can pick from 4 different times of departure.

We have one fun adventure that will easily fit into your Friday or Saturday afternoon down time in between conference events and workshops.

Swim with Dolphins

In this one hour experience, you will observe the intelligence and amazing abilities of these animals. You’ll be able to soothingly caress them and in return they might surprise you by turning around and asking you to rub their belly. You will even be pushed or pulled though the water by these powerful and graceful animals. Afterward you will be entertained by their impressive jumps while sitting just a meter away. This experience is available every day at 3:30PM giving you plenty of time to get back to conference in time for diner at 6:30PM. Transportation is not included in this trip however, if you use the Facebook Conference Group, you can coordinate transportation with other INA attendees. The price of this unique opportunity is $115 a person plus transportation and gratuities.
