Megan is on the North Carolina Board of Entrepreneurship and is a frequent speaker at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she previously acted as the VP of the alumni board. She uses her community connections to reach more families which helps to grow her business.

This session will provide an update about new laws and regulations affecting agencies in 2015, including minimum wage and overtime issues and the Affordable Care Act. The presentation also will answer some of the most commonly asked legal questions agencies face from nannies and clients. Audience members are encouraged to submit questions in advance and from the floor. This interactive presentation will be an “Open Mic Night with Your Lawyer.” All questions on any legal topic are welcomed, and I can promise that it will be a lively and interactive session.
Bob is an attorney and founder of Legally Nanny®, the leading law firm providing legal and tax advice to household employers and domestic employment and homecare agencies. Bob is a former INA Board Member and has shared his expertise as a contributing writer for INA newsletters and as a speaker at INA conferences. Bob graduated from Georgetown University, studied at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, on a Rotary Fellowship, and received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School. Legally Nanny assists domestic employment agencies with business, dispute resolution, and labor & employment matters. Additionally, the firm assists domestic employers with legal and tax issues, including payroll; employment, confidentiality and severance agreements; preparing back taxes; and defending audits, investigations, and lawsuits from employees and governmental entities. Bob also serves as the General Counsel for the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) and as an expert witness in household employment litigation.

Kellie served on the INA board for 10 years, and continues to work in this association serving on several committees, and is the 2015 INA Conference Coordinator. Kellie founded NannyTrainings.com, maintains several industry blogs and websites, and enjoys working with nanny agencies and companies identifying their business needs and helping them create a presence with their clients and nannies. Kellie has spent the past 16 years working exclusively with divorced parents, and successfully transitioned to being a household manager / personal assistant to a busy family with two kids in college, and Riley the dog, in the Washington, DC metro area.
