What skills do you feel you possess that would help serve the INA?

My education, management, and leadership background (Master’s of Education and Master’s of Management in Human Leadership and Organizational Dynamics), along with my professional, advocacy, and board experience, has equipped me with a significant variety of skills that will be of great asset to the INA.

Just to name a few, I look forward to getting back to the Education committee and the Government Affairs. I also have extensive experience – and training – with public speaking and PR, and can probably also advise the marketing committee.

What additional personal or professional information would you like to share?

I believe I have been involved in various leadership roles in the industry for over a decade with a solid background and unwavering committment that are the greatest testimony of my capability and expertise to bring to the board and I am excited with the opportunity to go back.

What skills do you feel you possess that would help serve the INA?

I bring a combination of strategic, interpersonal, and operational skills that allow me to contribute meaningfully to the INA and support its continued growth.

I have strong communication and relationship-building skills, which enable me to engage thoughtfully with members, board peers, sponsors, and partners. I am particularly skilled at navigating sensitive or complex situations with diplomacy, ensuring that people feel heard while still moving work forward.

I also bring strategic thinking and execution- the ability to see the bigger picture while translating ideas into actionable and thoughtful plans. This has been especially valuable in areas such as conference development, sponsorship growth, and strengthening organizational processes.

My understanding of governance and nonprofit leadership allows me to operate with integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. I respect established structures while also recognizing opportunities for thoughtful evolution that better serve the organization and its members.

Additionally, I offer a unique ability to bridge perspectives, connecting lived industry experience with research and emerging best practices. This allows me to contribute to conversations around professional standards, workforce development, and the long-term direction of the INA in a way that is both grounded and forward-looking.

Above all, I bring emotional intelligence, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility in representing the organization. I approach this work with care, intention, and a genuine commitment to the INA community.

What additional personal or professional information would you like to share?

In addition to my professional experience, I bring a deep, long-standing commitment to the INA and the community it serves. I was an engaged member for many years before stepping into board service, which has given me a meaningful understanding of the organization’s history, its evolving identity, and the experiences of its members across different stages of their careers.

My career in private service has largely been within high-level, complex household environments, where discretion, adaptability, and trust are essential. These experiences have shaped how I approach leadership—prioritizing thoughtful decision-making, clear communication, and a strong sense of responsibility to the people and systems I support.

I am also currently pursuing doctoral research focused on defining professional qualification within private household and estate management. This work reflects my broader commitment to helping bring greater clarity, structure, and recognition to our field, and I see the INA as a critical platform for advancing that conversation.

More personally, I approach this work with intention and care. I value creating space for diverse perspectives, contributing in a way that is both constructive and collaborative, and being part of an organization that is willing to reflect, grow, and evolve. I am committed to supporting the INA not only in its current work, but in shaping a thoughtful and sustainable future for the profession.

Why are you wanting to return for another term (2 years) to the INA Board of Directors?

My number 1 goal is to create momentum on getting more members.

Over the past term, I’ve had the opportunity to see both the strengths of the INA and the areas where we can continue to grow. That perspective has made me even more committed to the work.

I also want to continue contributing to that progress by helping the INA stay relevant, accessible, and genuinely useful to the people it serves. I care deeply about this industry, and I believe another term allows me to make a more meaningful, lasting impact.

What do you feel is the most important contribution you can make to the INA Board of Directors?
Helping the INA better connect with, and represent, the full childcare ecosystem as it exists today. There’s still a gap between how different roles in our industry are perceived… nannies, sitters, agencies… and I believe one of the most important things we can do is continue to bridge that by elevating all of them and showing how they work together. I can contribute by bringing a grounded, real-world perspective from working closely with agencies and caregivers every day, and helping shape initiatives, content, and conversations that actually resonate.
