Announcing the official dates for the INA’s 35th Annual Conference

With the early timing of our 2019 Conference, we know for more than two months you have been anxiously awaiting the official date for our 2020 Conference. We have taken some extra time to sort out all the details and get everyone the best deal we could on the hotel. Without further ado, here it is!!!

The INA 35th Annual Conference will be:

Thursday, April 30 – Sunday, May 3, 2020 in Montreal, Canada! The hotel details and registration will be available in the fall but you may want to start planning your trip now. As you do, please keep in mind a few NEW DETAILS for this year’s international conference.

  • Schedule:
The INA will be changing up our schedule a little bit with this conference to allow for a little more time in the evenings for sightseeing the beautiful city of Montreal. To make this adjustment we will officially start the conference on Thursday, April 30th in the early afternoon so as you get vacation time figured out and start looking at travel, keep that in mind. We will still end by Saturday evening so you can choose to fly out on Sunday or stay an extra day or two to see some additional sites.
  • Passports:
Unless you are a Canadian Resident or hold a Canadian passport, you will need to get a passport from your home country or make sure your current passport is up to date. THIS INCLUDES United States Citizens.
  • Travel:
You will want to make plans to fly into Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
  • Language:
Canada is a dual language country with both English and French being official languages but in Montreal French is the primary language spoken. Don’t worry. People are very friendly to English speakers, but you might want to bone up on some phrases in French. The INA is working with some individuals local to Montreal to not only provide you with cultural details that will help you as you travel to this unique city but some language translation tips as well. Look for those on our social media over the next 10 months.
