How to Maximize Your 30th Anniversary INA Conference Experience

How to Maximize Your INA 30th Anniversary Conference Experience

INA would like to help you make the most of not only your time in Cancun, Mexico at our 30th Anniversary Celebration Conference but also help you prepare for your time with us.

Conference Facebook Group

Over the last few years we have discovered that those that are active in our Conference Facebook group have a richer and more connected experience once they get to conference.  They build connections before they arrive and those connections continue after conference.  This year’s Facebook group will be open to only those attending conference to provide for a more intimate experience.  If you are registered for conference you should have received an email with the link to this group.  If you have not, please contact our office for assistance.

Is this your first time attending INA’s annual conference?

Conference Guides

One of the services we have found helpful to first time attendees is providing you with a Conference Guide. When matched with a Guide you can utilize their experience at past INA conferences by asking them questions and connecting with them when you first arrive on site.  There is a place to mark that you would like a Conference Guide on your registration form, but you can also go to this link and fill out a quick form so you can be matched.

Conference Orientation

Another tool for the first time attender to an INA Conference is our Orientation that will be held on Thursday afternoon April 23rd at 1:30 PM.  This is your chance to meet some of the INA Staff and Board of Directors, and put faces to the names you know.  Orientation will walk you though the basics of what to expect and answer any further questions you have.

Are you looking for other INA Conference networking opportunities?

Network Lunches

This year, because the resort we will be staying at is all inclusive, we will not be having general session lunches.  Attendees are free to eat on their own schedule; however, INA will provide a networking location in the main dining area from 1-2 PM Friday and Saturday.  These informal lunches are optional and will give you a chance to meet some new people.

Roommate Finder

One great way to cut down on costs for the INA 30th Anniversary Conference is to find a roommate.  INA wants to help make this easier for you by providing a Conference Roommate Coordinator.  Simply fill out this short form and our Roommate Coordinator will get in touch with you and find someone for you to room with.

Don’t forget to have FUN in Cancun!

This year’s conference hotel is amazing and you may not want to leave the resort with its many pools and beachfront relaxation.  However, if you are adventurous and would like to see some of the surrounding sights, INA will be coordinating an excursion Friday and Saturday afternoon from 1:30-6PM as well as one on Sunday morning.  These group excursions are optional and will be available on a first come, first service basis for an extra cost.  More details will be coming in the weeks ahead. The conference hotel is in the “hotel zone” which means there is both public transportation and private taxi available for informal outings.
