The INA Board of Directors is seeking an administrator to assume office operations for the association. The position is a fast paced 30-hour per week, work from home opportunity

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have strong customer service skills
  • Have strong writing skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Have strong communication skills

Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and Net Community is desirable.

Previous experience in the in-home child care industry is a plus.

The INA administrator will manage complete office operations, association project coordination, INA Annual Conference planning, and implementation.

Tasks include:

  • Comprehensive planning and on-site implementation of INA’s Annual Conference (Must be on-site March 26-31, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA)
  • Processing memberships, including preparing mailings, and processing records in Raiser’s edge
  • Preparing renewals, including preparing mailings and calling members who are due to renew
  • Processing eStore transactions, and website porthole forms
  • Field phone and email inquiries from membership, the public and media, addressing needs or directing them to the appropriate person
  • Manage communications to the membership and public through social media, newsletter, blog, member message boards, eblasts and website updates
  • Facilitate the administration of INA’s Basic Skills Exam and Nanny Credential Exam
  • Approve member posts to INA’s Job Board and message boards
  • Track inventory and order publications and books
  • Oversee, and create new member records in Raiser’s Edge so that the Net Community directory listings, and all INA transactions are accurate
  • Coordinate with the bookkeeper to ensure the books are balanced
  • Manage outside contractors to insure projects are being completed
  • Track invoices and pay bills
  • Draft publications, eblasts, advertisements, and other correspondence
  • Update, and build additional pages on Nanny.org as needed
  • Create, format, and distribute newsletter
  • Coordinate with the Board of Directors and committee members to implement projects
  • Attend the fall Board of Directors meeting (this year’s meeting is November 8-10, 2013 in Washington DC)
  • Other tasks related to ongoing association operations.
