Do you know the next INA Nanny of the Year?
Every year at the Annual Conference the INA recognizes one childcare provider for his or her personal achievements as a working nanny or Newborn Care Specialist (NCS). The INA Nanny of the Year serves as an example of the best kind of nanny or NCS and represents a positive role model for our industry and association. The candidate selected will be a professional caregiver who is a genuine advocate for children and a person who has enriched the lives of the families for whom he or she has worked.
Nominees for NOTY must meet the criteria outlined on our website and in the 2019 NOTY Information Packet. Individual caregivers can be nominated by current or past employers, fellow colleagues who work closely with the individual or placement agencies with whom the candidate has been placed. To learn more about the application and nomination process for the INA Nanny of the Year, click here. The deadline for NOTY Nominations is September 7, 2018.
The nomination & portfolio process is detailed but we have provided a step-by-step outline on page 6-9 of the 2019 NOTY Information Packet. Candidates can also check out our NOTY Portfolio Submission Blog Series in September/October of 2018 which provides a breakdown of each step NOTY Candidates should take to complete the Digital Portfolio by December 5, 2018.
Individuals submitting the Nanny of the Year Portfolio are not considered official Nanny of the Year Nominees until they pass a background check, complete initial evaluations and are registered for the Annual Conference. Have more questions, contact the office and we will answer them at memberservices@nanny.org.
