Respectful Care-giving, an Introduction to the Educaring® Approach
Members asked, we listened! The International Nanny Association invites it’s members to suggest speakers and topics for our Annual Conference. For several years our nannies have requested a speaker on the topic of Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) We are pleased to announce that Larissa Neilson, certified RIE instructor will be joining the amazing Nanny Track line-up at our 29th Annual Conference. Her workshop will be entitled “Respectful Caregiving – An Introduction To The Educaring® Approach.” This is an amazing educational opportunity for the nannies who will meet at the International Nanny Association’s 29th Annual Conference, March 27 – 30 2014 in Los Angeles.
Larissa is the author of the LA Nanny Book, which is a comprehensive book about resume writing, interviewing and the RIE approach to child care. Larissa was born and raised in Lima Peru. She holds degrees in both Business Administration and Law. In 2000 she moved to Los Angeles and began her career as a Newborn Care Specialist, working with single families, as well as high profile families. During this time she received her education in RIE and the Educaring® Approach.
Resources for Infant Educarers (REI)
Larissa Neilson is a skilled and passionate advocate of RIE, and has taught RIE classes in Spanish at the RIE center in California. Her workshop will be geared towards those who care for infants and will introduce the definition, principles and basics of RIE and the Educaring® Approach.
