Earlier this week the INA debuted our Read With Us videos, which is a series of videos from INA members and industry professionals reading one of their favorite children’s books. As we shared this first book on Monday, we stated that this was being done to celebrate Read Across America, World Book Day, and Dr Seuss’s Birthday. Many people reached out to us asking us to reconsider the inclusion of Dr Seuss in this celebration of reading and literacy.
Although we understand there are many opinions on this, we have made the decision to remove the mention of Dr Seuss’s birthday from this series and would like to share the following statement with you.
