In recent years, the landscape of early childhood care and education in Vietnam has undergone a profound transformation. The role of a nanny is no longer viewed as mere intuitive babysitting or routine domestic help. Instead, it has elevated into a professional, early educational companionship that shapes a child’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development during the critical golden window of 0 to 3 years old.
As an official member of the International Nanny Association (INA), Vuon Uom Academy has consistently spearheaded this movement. On June 14, 2026, the Academy marked a milestone in Hanoi by hosting a major in-person event titled “The Professional Nanny Portrait”. The gathering served as a strategic step toward reshaping societal perceptions and standardizing professional competencies for the domestic childcare workforce.
Global Connectivity: Embracing Professional Identity to Elevate the Craft
As an INA member, Vuon Uom Academy acts as a vital cultural and professional bridge, ensuring local educators and nannies enjoy continuous access to the international network’s most valuable up-to-date resources.
A core highlight of the morning program was an intensive internal training segment led by early childhood expert Hoang Anh. The session focused on an exclusive, copyrighted video resource from INA’s official library: “Knowing Your Identity As A Nanny Can Help You To Upscale Your Craft.”
Through this insightful INA resource, the nannies and teachers in attendance embraced a profound philosophy: technical childcare skills are truly amplified only when built upon a secure, professional mindset and a deep sense of self-worth. The presentation inspired a powerful shift in perspective—moving attendees away from the mindset of casual labor and empowering them to see themselves as expert early childhood educators who confidently co-navigate development milestones alongside modern families.
Immersive Learning: 4 Specialized Practical Stations
To translate this professional mindset into actionable skills, Vuon Uom Academy designed an immersive, two-hour practical rotation consisting of four specialized stations running in parallel. This framework simulated a comprehensive professional development workflow, equipping participants with tangible career tools:
- Station 1 – The Professional Photobooth: Caregivers posed for polished, confident portraits alongside early education materials. This station marked their first step toward building an authentic, professional personal brand that fosters trust with prospective parents.
- Station 2 – Competency Interview Hub: Attendees engaged in 1-on-1 consultations with leading early childhood experts. Each participant received personalized, constructive feedback regarding their unique professional strengths, alongside a customized educational roadmap tailored to their career goals.
- Station 3 – Resume Profile Building: The Academy’s human resources team personally guided each caregiver through formatting and designing a standardized resume (CV). Utilizing Vuon Uom Academy’s elegant, professional templates, participants walked away with high-quality digital files ready to unlock premium career opportunities.
- Station 4 – Early Childhood Education Workshop: A vibrant, hands-on experiential zone dedicated to the 0–3 age group. Caregivers practically engaged with sensory play setups themed around the “Very Hungry Caterpillar,” mastered interactive reading techniques, and practiced implementing structured sensory and language activities.
Empowering Pride and a Shared Vision for the Future
As nannies returned from their intensive workshop rotations, the room radiated with visible confidence, inspiration, and joy. Caregivers stepped onto the stage to candidly share their insights, proving that the event had achieved something deeper than simple skills training—it had touched hearts and awakened an immense sense of professional dignity.
Vuon Uom Academy is successfully establishing a new benchmark for the childcare industry in Vietnam. The June 14 “Professional Nanny Portrait” event stands out not merely as a one-day gathering, but as a robust launchpad for a new generation of Vietnamese nannies—caregivers who are knowledgeable, highly skilled, globally aligned, and fully deserving of society’s highest respect.
