Nanny Agency Benchmarking Study

The International Nanny Association (INA) was delighted to partner with the Alliance of Professional Nanny Agencies (APNA) for the first ever Benchmarking Study in the U.S. nanny industry, specifically benchmarking nanny referral agencies.

What is a benchmarking study?

A benchmarking study is the process of comparing one’s business processes and performance metrics to industry bests or best practices from other companies in the same industry. It is a formal way for nanny agencies to see how they measure up to their peers in key metrics, allowing a nanny agency to understand and focus on areas of their operations that do not presently reach nanny agency industry performance standards.

Why is a nanny agency benchmarking study important?

A nanny agency’s processes and performance directly impacts the agency bottom line – and whether the nanny agency is profitable and sustainable or not. Businesses use benchmarking studies to improve performance over time, and to specifically target areas of their business operation or performance where improvements can be made.

More than 50 agencies nationwide participated in the nanny agency benchmarking study, which the INA estimates is approximately 10% of the US nanny agency market. The respondents represent a broad geographic cross section of the nanny agency industry.

How can I get a copy of the nanny agency benchmarking study?

The Nanny Agency Benchmarking Study is available to INA members through the e-Store free of charge.

The INA eSTORE has been updated to a sleek, NEW version!

As an INA Member, you still maintain access to Member-only resources within the eSTORE, however you will need to create a new set of LOGIN credentials to continue that access. These are separate from your login ID for the INA Member Directory, and specific ONLY to the eSTORE.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Click the INA eSTORE link.
    2. Under User Name, type your email address.
    3. Click Forgot Password? to be sent a link via email to create your password.Once you have set up your credentials, you will use those to sign into the eSTORE every time you would like to make a purchase or download any FREE Member-only resources. If you do not sign in to your account, you will not receive your Member discount or have access to the Member-only resources.
