As conference draws closer, here is some helpful information on What’s Included in Your Room Rate and What Costs Extra

Included:

  1. Breakfast every morning in the buffet (El Antiguo Laguito) restaurant every morning from 7am – 10 am. Sessions start at 8 AM, please plan to eat ahead.
  2. Lunch: The INA conference will break in early afternoon, and lunch is on your own. Groups may form for lunch together in the buffet, or the beachside Mexican snack restaurant Maguey. (The Maguey had lovely grilled chicken and fish, as well as a wide variety of local Mexican themed food and local fruits and vegetables when we visited.)
  3. Beverages, including beer, house wine, soft drinks, and mixed drinks. “Wine by the bottle” is additional and priced as listed in the wine menu.
  4. Room service (24 hour).
  5. Room minibar.
  6. In room and lobby WiFi – turn off your phone’s data and connect to wifi when on site to economize. Data roaming is expensive, no matter who your carrier is, unless you have appropriate international services.
  7. Kids Club – 10 am – 5 pm for children aged 4 – 12.
  8. Teens Club daily 10 am – 5 pm and 7:30 pm – 11 pm.
  9. Splash park 10 – 5:30 daily.
  10. Fitness center and tennis courts are open daily.
  11. Entertainment each evening in the El Telón Theater.
  12. Snorkel gear is available for use from the hotel beach for up to one hour per day per guest.
  13. Free SCUBA dive tryouts in the pool.

Optional Items Available at Additional Cost

  1. Spa services – INA members are offered a 15% discount with your INA conference badge.
  2. Golf Course Fees.
  3. Medical services: On site medical staff is available 9 am – 6 pm. After hours there is emergency medical service available via a service shared among hotels in the hotel zone.
  4. Car rental – Guest services can arrange a car.
  5. Taxis and public busses
  6. Tours and excursions. INA has arranged several optional outings that must be booked and paid for prior to arrival in Mexico, no later than Sunday April 19. Alternately you can plan your own personal or small group outings at the hotel from the tour desk.
  7. Diving: Dressel Divers Club (SCIBA, PADI affiliated) and Watersports team (Snorkel outings, banana boat rides, fishing trips, parasailing) work out of the Iberostar hotel. Information on outings, costs schedules is available poolside or online at www.DresselDivers.com
