INA has opened Round Two of the Conference Endowment Applications with a deadline of January 31st. Associate Members are welcome to apply for round 2.
Started in 2011, the INA Membership Conference Endowment has been developed to recognize our members for their dedication to the in-home child care industry.
The 2019 INA Membership Conference Endowment gives away four (4) full conference registrations (a $395 value each). Two full conference registrations will be given to those in the Business Category and two in the Caregiver Category. The Business Category includes members who are Standard, Supporting, Premium or Independent Supporting Members. The Caregiver Category is for Individual Members. We have two rounds of in which to apply. Round one is closed.
Second Round Application is OPEN
If you applied for the first round and were not selected, you are automatically entered the second round. The Application will be open from Monday, January 14, 2019 – Thursday, January 31, 2019 (11:59 PM US EST). We will be selecting ONE caregiver and ONE business for the second selection of Endowment awardees. The two Endowment awardees will be informed on Monday, February 4, 2019.
Application Instructions
Answers should be submitted through the Endowment Application in your member portal. To access the form, log into your account at nanny.org. Go to “Forms” and find the one titled “INA Endowment
Complete all three (3) parts of the form.
- Section 1: General Information about you.
- Section 2: Trivia Questions. The trivia question answers can be found on the INA Websites, www.nanny.org or ina
conference@nanny.org. - Section 3: Answer the two personal essay questions. The essay questions must be between 10-15 sentences each and applicants are encouraged to use spelling and grammar check.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the 2019 INA Conference Endowment
- Be a current full INA Member. Please note Associate members are welcome to apply for the second round of the Endowment.
- Attend the 2019 INA Annual Conference, March 21 – 24, 2019 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
- Provide us with the correct name and email address.
- Answer all the trivia questions correctly.
- Complete the essay questions with the correct number of sentences, spelling, and grammar.
Those not eligible for the INA Endowment include:
- INA Board of Directors
- 2018 and 2019 NOTY
- Conference presenters and sponsors who receive complimentary registration
Selection Process
When the applicant has completed all steps correctly, they will be placed in a “pool” to be chosen. The award recipients will be chosen via a random name selection site.
Those who have been chosen for the 2019 Conference Endowment will be notified via email by 9 PM EST on Monday, February 4, 2019, for round two
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are already registered for the 2019 Conference and win the Endowment, your registration fee will be refunded.
If you are awarded an endowment you may transfer the award to another 2019 conference attendee for the normal $25 transfer fee.
