Its Exam Week Day 2! With our new Virtual Proctor system, it will be so much easier to take these credential exams now that you can do them in the comfort of your own home or wherever you want! Choose a time convenient to you (our time-slots are times available 7 days a week) and when you have up to a maximum of 2.5 hours to get set-up and complete the exam but it is still just 2 hours to complete the exam once it starts. We have detailed instructions to help you and there is also live technical support available 24/7 if needed. Please note the new price of $75 for members and $100 for non-members covers the costs of this convenience.
We know some of you would rather still take the exam for our old price so we will continue to offer it on paper annually at the INA Conference at the current price of $40 for INA members and $50 non-members. We will also extend the same privilege to any group of 10 or more people who want to secure a proctor (or 2 depending on the number of test takers) and take it at the same time. This is perfect for support groups, nanny conferences like Nannypalooza, The Great British Nanny Conference, or Nanny Jamboree, etc. or any gatherings of newborn care specialists or nannies. To do this you would need to follow these directions.
If you are still not convinced that taking the INA Nanny or NCS Credential Exam will help you in your career, maybe Jen Del Papa one of our INA members can convince you.
“I am beyond grateful to the nanny that first told me about the International Nanny Association Nanny Credential Exam. Preparing for and taking the exam on the same day as other local nannies brought us closer as a nanny tribe encouraging one another before the exam and being an ongoing support group for each other ever since; participating in play dates, social events, lending an ear and sharing tips with one other. Learning I passed the exam gave me added confidence in my years of childcare experience and in the Infant/Toddler Development Certificate I had earned at a local college. Another important perk has been that since adding that I am an INA Credentialed nanny to my resume, not only is it a great talking point during nanny job interviews as they learn quickly that this is my profession and their child’s care is truly a priority for me, but also the rate of pay I have received with my nanny positions since earning the INA Credential has increased significantly. I continue to spread the word to new nanny friends about the exam as I have seen the benefits of taking it first hand.”
Remember that tomorrow, May 1st is our Town Hall which is held on our INA main page at 9:00 PM US Eastern Standard Time. Just log on and ask your questions!
