2021 Board Nominee Highlight: Jennifer Hough

Voting for our 2021 – 2023 INA Board of Directors will begin on April 6, 2021, and before our Members vote, we would like you to get to know them. Today we are getting to know Jennifer Hough. 

Jennifer Hough: “Jenn” has over 8 years of nanny experience on the North Shore of Boston working with children from birth to 14 years of age. She specializes in caring for children with different developmental needs.

Jenn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Salem State University and is a passionate nanny advocate. Additionally, Jennifer is a Newborn Care Specialist, CPST, Fertility, Birth, and Postpartum Doula in training, and an active member of the local nanny community!

 

When completing their application, they provided us with the following information. 

Q: Have you ever served on an INA Committee or supported the INA through any type of service?

A: Attended webinars and Town Halls.

 

Q: What Skills do you feel you possess that would help serve the INA?

A: Fundraising, writing, marketing.

 

Q: What committees are you interested in being involved with?

A: Exam Development, Newborn Care Specialist, Education, NOTY.

 

Q: What do you feel is the most important contribution you can make to the INA Board of Directors?

A: I feel my willingness and ability to think outside the box and be creative would be the most important contribution I could make to the Board of Directors.

 

Q: Why do you want to be on the INA Board of Directors?

A: I want to be part of the change!  I love the opportunity to be part of a unique, hardworking group of like minded individuals all working toward common goals.

 

Wearing many hats under the childcare umbrella currently, I have the unique ability to look through many different lenses, which I feel could be helpful to not only the board, but the members and community as a whole.
