NEW details for 2020 Service Award Pin – Applications are Now Open.

It is time to apply for your INA Service Award Pin. The program was originally launched in 2010, in celebration of INA’s 25th anniversary. This year the program will celebrate its 10th anniversary! If you are attending the INA’s 35th Annual Conference, April 30 – May 3, 2020, you have until January 15, 2020 to apply.

However, we know that many of our members cannot make it to an INA Conference every year. The INA Board feels that this should not stop you from being honored for your years in the industry. New for 2020, we are making some changes that will enable you to apply for the Service Award Pin even if you can’t make it to conference.

Applications for the 2nd round (Non-Conference) Service Award Pins will be from April 1 – June 15, 2020. Those who choose this route will have the option of receiving their Service Award Pin at Nannypalooza, an International Nanny Recognition Week party, International Nanny Training Day event, APNA Conference, DEMA Convention, Great British Nanny Conference, or any other event as long as the industry event organizer is ok with it and there can be an approved INA representative there to present it. If you are not able to make it to one of these events, you will have the option to receive your Service Award Pin in the mail, though we believe most of you will want the honor and prestige of receiving it in public. More information about this new option will be available when the application opens on April 1, 2020.

RIGHT NOW you can now apply for your (Round 1/Conference) 2020 Service Award Pin.

Remember that applicants must:

  • Be a current INA member to be eligible for an INA Service Award Pin.
  • Attend the 2020 Annual Conference to receive your INA Service Award Pin.
  • Be able to accept work legally in the country of employment.
  • (For Nannies) Work minimum 1200 hours per year OR 26 weeks per year and be able to document the hours and families you’ve worked with.
  • Be able to complete this digital form which includes general information, 3 references, a complete work/professional history, a bio of yourself, and a headshot of yourself (no selfies or other people).

The 2020 Service Pin Award Processing fee can be found in the INA Estore and will be $30 for those attending the INA Conference and $35 for those accepting it at a different event or who want it mailed directly to them.
